Lorien are working with a public sector organisation that specialise in savings and investments and they are currently looking for a Market and Competitor analyst to work alongside the head of the department and key stakeholders across the business on a number of activities including research, interpretation and analysis, reporting, continuous improvement and administrative tasks.
Working alongside the Head of the department, responsibilities would include:
- Conduct research on market research and benchmarking against current offerings by the organisation
- Monitor the evolving digital landscape with the financial sector
- Researching, evaluating and interpreting market intelligence data to influence strategic decision made
- Produce scheduled reports that are tailored to specification required
- Provide clear concise executive summaries
- Work with stakeholders to continiously improve reporting outputs
- Updating database with latest economic, pricing and financial data
Experience:
- Strong analytical skills - exposure to data mining, gathering and analysing
- Experience of evaluating data and identifying trends
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Tableau
- Report writing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Presentation skills
The salary for this role is paying up to £28,600 with a 27% pension, bonus, 25 days annual leave and other benefits.
The role is based on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week based in the offices in Westminster area.
