The successful candidate will be responsible for the correct process and transfer of capital equipment from the design stage into full production for NPD projects.
Working with Production, R&D and Quality departments, the position is responsible for all alterations to the capital portfolio following assessments for suitability, test, validation, and all aspects of implementation.
Support multiple teams of other product design engineers, test design engineers, production, and service centre staff to resolve issues with product design, modification, upgrades, customer investigations, supplier investigations, obsolescence, and test system design changes.
Be part of product transitions from development to repair phase.

Working for a global manufacturer at the Gillingham operations, as Manufacturing Assembly Engineer, you will support activities to ensure that all components, products and assemblies are produced to the required quality and quantity, in the most efficient time and cost effective manner, whilst supporting the Project Management and Engineering team's project deliverables.
