We are currently working with an organisation in North Essex who are looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer.
This is a newly created position and the successful appointee will be joining a well established team.
Responsibilities:
- Keep up to date with current and developing trends in the manufacturing industry / competitors
- Designing new solutions for customers and developing concepts
- Sourcing components and suppliers, ensuring the highest quality at the best price
- Identifying issues and investigating production problems
- Investigating how to improve existing projects
- Estimating future requirements
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Degree educated in manufacturing or production engineering or equivalent
- Practical work experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles
- Ability to communicate concepts
- Experience of creating engineering drawings / designs
