FM Procurement Manager Location: Bristol, BS1 (Hybrid 2-3 days on-site) Engagement Type: Temporary (6 Month Contract) Department: Procurement and Specification An exciting opportunity has arisen for an FM Procurement Manager to join a leading procurement team within a prominent student accommodation provider. Day to Day of the role: Develop and execute procurement strategies for Hard Facilities Management and related capital expenditure, including fit-out and refurbishment. Source, select, and negotiate supply solutions that deliver value and meet the needs of various stakeholders. Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo to drive value. Partner with internal customers to understand their needs and translate these into effective procurement activities. Manage risk and promote sustainable procurement practices within the professional services supply chain. Maintain and foster excellent customer relationships to enable fast problem-solving and a collaborative approach. Draft and negotiate supply contracts to maximise value and limit risk. Formulate strategies across accountable categories in conjunction with key stakeholders. Provide expert contractual and commercial advice. Contribute to the organisation's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals by developing sustainable procurement strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation. A customer-first mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Category management experience in related fields. CIPS qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, with a willingness to continue professional development.
