Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Surveyor to join our team.
This role involves providing a comprehensive professional surveying and technical service to diagnose, specify, design, and facilitate a wide range of building repair works and adaptations.
You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with statutory and local legislation and meets all departmental key performance requirements.

This job role is to over see the management of void refurbishment works and associated tasks.
Tasks include
Managing works from inception to completion, including the programming of works and supervision of contractors to deliver on budget, time and to the required quality.
Tomanageandmonitorworksinrelation with legal disrepair cases, structural issues, and insuranceschemes.
Main Purpose of the job
To provide a comprehensive specialised technical service to ensure that potential legal disrepair, statutory nuisance, structural repairs, and insurance claims against Lewisham Council are dealt with professionally and as expeditiously as possible.
Experienced / qualified building surveyor to carry out full property surveys specifically in relation to condensation & damp diagnosis.
The surveyor will have specific knowledge of building structures and how they contribute to the cause, be able to correctly diagnose & specify remedial requirements.
To understand and be able to use equipment to aid with diagnostics and undertaking seasonal monitoring.
Assisting in the preparation of the annual property budget and monitoring progress on delivery to it.What you'll need to have
Negotiating the best commercial terms in the market on all aspects of property management and rental transactions Financially appraising and evaluating property transactions, preparing and presenting approval papers.
You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in lettings and delivering new income opportunities.
The Commercial Surveyor will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring the lease agreement is being adhered to and the property is in lease state.
I am looking for a Commercial Surveyor to join a local authority in the Staffordshire area.
This role is an initial 3 month contract with extension available.
