This is an integral role within the company. This job is working alongside the MD and the Purchasing team, this would be a split role between the two departments. Your new role As a PA/Commercial Manager, your role will be to oversee functions including: Procurement Supply and Stock management activities. Purchasing goods for resale to meet customer requirements. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, sourcing products from a global supply base and preparing and evaluating tenders. Delivering on cost saving strategies. Deliver cost savings and process improvements and ensuring that the company's competitive position is maintained and enhanced at all times. Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify new alternative suppliers Negotiate most advantageous commercial terms including maximising rebate agreements and early payment discounts to achieve product cost saving target Identify best routes of source. Competitively source new/special products through supplier relationships or by the Insight team request Working with compliance on product rationalisation. Providing administrative support on all aspects of the tender process including data gathering, desk-based sourcing, collation of quotations and cost comparison, supplier evaluation and collation of samples. What you'll need to succeed As an EA/Commercial Manager you will need demonstrate experience in the following: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers.
