You're a champion of nature conservation and the great outdoors, and you'll play a crucial role in keeping the nation's beloved countryside and coast in good shape, for wildlife and for people.
This position is based at the National Trusts Llanerchaeron Estate, Ceredigion and will be an integral part of a small delivery team working on the Butterflies and Bell Flower Project, a Nature Networks Fund project which is funded by Welsh Government and administered by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
As an Engagement Ranger, you're the heart and soul of the National Trust in the landscapes we protect.
Based at The Lodge reserve, Sandy (but also covering Fowlmere reserve) you'll be providing a unique and fascinating visitor experience inspiring our visitors to support nature conservation now and in the future.
We are recruiting an Assistant Ranger to assist in the practical delivery of our grant funded Species Recovery Project here on the Lizard in Cornwall.
You will work alongside the project's existing Assistant Ranger delivering practical habitat creation and restoration activities that will aid the fortunes of some of the UK's rarest species.
This role will be key to the delivery of this significant nature conservation project and will run until the project end date (31st March 2025).

This is a Fixed Term role until 31 March 2026, Full Time role for 37.5 hours per week.
The RSPB reserves the right to extend or make this role permanent without further advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.
