You, as an Activities and Wellbeing Facilitator, will work with residents to develop and deliver a range of daily activities that reflect individual needs, interests, choices, and preferences, cultivating a person-centred and inclusive environment that is dementia-friendly and supports diverse needs.
In collaboration with the Volunteer Manager, the Activities and Wellbeing Facilitator will match residents with volunteers to support engaging activities and organize recreational outings and events for social and cultural engagement.
Job Scope
Our client's team is looking for an experienced Activities and Wellbeing Facilitator who will deliver day services to their members by planning, developing, and implementing a person-centred programme of stimulating activities that meet the social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs of residents.
Family hubs offer support to families from conception to 19 or up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), with a great Start for Life offer at their core.
Family hubs are a place-based way of joining up locally in the planning and delivery of family services.
They bring services together to improve access, improve the connections between families, professionals, services, and providers, and put relationships at the heart of family support.
