Position: Welder/Fabricator Location: Camden, North London Hours: Full Time (36 Hours), Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Circa £33000 per annum Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Camden, North London. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct building repairs, maintenance, and renewals across various sites, ensuring adherence to trade practices, standards, and regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in their trade discipline and maintain a commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of building repairs, maintenance, and renewals within the Welder/Fabricator discipline, encompassing both reactive repairs and planned refurbishment projects. Execute tasks related to other trades associated with welding and fabrication competently. Conduct repairs across multiple trade disciplines as required, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to standards. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction by minimizing disruption and respecting residents' needs and belongings. Maintain regular communication with Repairs Team Supervisors and Planners to update on work progress and ensure timely completion of repairs. Prioritize safety by adhering to safe working practices and complying with health and safety regulations. Stay updated on current standards, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, preferably in a maintenance or construction environment. Proficiency in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of a consistently high standard. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding and fabrication are desirable.
