As a Web Scraping Data Analyst, you'll work closely with their Data & Insight team, taking charge of implementing and analysing all web scraping activities. The role is 4 days per week in the office in Newbury and 1 day working from home. Your Role: Utilize advanced web scraping techniques to extract valuable data from various online sources based on brief/brand requirements. Analyse and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability, meeting deadlines. Create and maintain visual dashboards for internal and external use, presenting data in insightful and digestible views. Required Skills: Proven experience as a Data Analyst using web scraping techniques. Excellent knowledge of SQL with experience in SQL Server and BigQuery. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI). Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Skills: Qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, or related experience. Strong proficiency in HTML and XPath Queries for effective web scraping.
