Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading Warehouse, Storage and Distribution firm actively seeking a skilled and proven Warehouse Manager to join their Twickenham location. Our client operates a 45,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Twickenham and offer full storage, distribution and installation services in multiple sectors with a core focus in furniture products. Warehouse Manager Position Overview Within this role you will manage the small warehouse team and the full operations of the 45,000 sq ft warehouse and storage facility. Your key responsibilities will be - Working with their Delta Warehouse Management System (WMS) the main duties will include:- Managing the warehouse team to include compliance with timekeeping and managing shift patterns Working knowledge of our Delta Warehouse Management System (WMS) Managing the receipt of incoming product including checking all paperwork is correct Ensuring all incoming product is visually checked and any damage noted as per company procedures. These include photographs and opening damaged packaging to check the product the customer needs to be informed of any damage and it needs to be recorded on all goods-in paperwork Managing the putting away of all incoming product in a timely and efficient manner using WMS and fully utilising racking bays where possible Managing the accurate picking all product for despatch using the correct WMS pick lists Managing the loading of vehicles safely and efficiently Ensuring all product for box storage is correctly logged and put away in boxes in a timely manner Ensuring all archive storage is entered on the system and put away in a timely manner Ensuring the archive area is regularly checked and cleaned Housekeeping to ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times. This includes regular rubbish and packaging removal and ensuring all lights are switched off at the end of the day, forklifts put on charge and all doors are correctly shut Housekeeping to ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy at all times. This includes organising regular pallet collections when appropriate, ensuring all skips are emptied in a timely fashion and regularly managing the sweeping of the yard. To also ensure no combustible materials (i.e. pallets) are stored away from the warehouse walls Managing yard access and parking for deliveries and staff parking Compliance with H&S requirements. This includes enforcing the wearing of PPE as appropriate (Hi-Viz and protective shoes as a minimum requirement), ensuring all fire exits are kept clear at all times, regular testing of emergency lighting as per schedule, and keeping fork lift charging areas free of debris and combustible items Use of pump trucks and fork lift trucks where required Covering stock control duties during holiday or sickness periods Warehouse Manager Position Remuneration Salary - 27 - 35K Mon - Fri - 7 - 5:00 - With Hour lunch 23 Days Holiday Pension Free Parking Death In Service Overtime available Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy. We are seeking a Warehouse Technician with a passion for the audio world to join a well established team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with an interest in the audio industry. You will be part of a dedicated team, managing, testing, and maintaining cutting-edge equipment, ensuring the highest standards. Please do note the role will be relocating to the KT12 postcode later this year. Day to Day of the role: Bench test equipment using analysers and RF generators, including cable testing. Update equipment to the latest firmware and ensure full functionality. Coordinate with freelance engineers for correct equipment settings and frequencies. Organise the department to ensure readiness for deployment. Deliver equipment within timelines, with appropriate packaging and documentation. Conduct accurate equipment checks against job specifications and upon return. Store equipment correctly and report any discrepancies, losses, or damages. Prepare, test, clean, and perform quality control for equipment. Load and unload trucks, manage inventory, and handle late returns. Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy work environment. Comply with Health and Safety regulations. Ensure PAT testing is up to date within the department. Required Skills & Qualifications: General understanding of audio equipment. Hands-on experience with audio systems is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently and sometimes extended hours while maintaining high standards. Ideally technical skills and a proactive "can do" attitude. Highly organised, excellent communicator, and able to build strong working relationships quickly. Team player with sharp attention to detail, thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided. The successful candidate will be expected to work additional hours in peak times, including some weekends. Overtime is paid. Benefits to include: Competitive salary based on experience.
