You will ensure that an organisation is operating in accordance with environmental guidelines and targets.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that sustainable practices are embedded throughout Charity operations.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities (HOF), you will be a key contributor to the Charity's Environment & Sustainability Development agenda, leading the development of the Charity's Environmental Management System, Carbon Management Plan, and Sustainability and Travel Plans.
You will be responsible for the highest safety and environmental standards, ensure the site operates to maximise a cost effective and efficient output whilst continuously improving safety, health, environmental, operational standards and systems, and managing control of change procedures.
You will join us as a Site Manager to pro-actively manage & take responsibility for the whole site operation.

Purpose of the role
As a Mobile Plant Operator (Recycling), you will be responsible for safely controlling traffic movements within the Bulking & Loading areas, to safely operate mobile and static plant and to unload/load and store wastes & collected recyclables, to carry inspections as to the quality of materials and to ensure that the working area is kept clean at all times.
