Location: Central Southampton SO15 or Central Winchester SO22 Job Type: Temporary (6 weeks) We are looking for a Receptionist to join our clients on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in a legal or accountancy practice and possess strong organisational skills. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in reception, secretarial work, or office management who are adept at working in fast-paced environments. Day-to-day of the role: Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office. Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication skills for team environments and public interactions. Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure. Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances. Excellent IT skills and willingness to learn new systems. Highly motivated with a willingness to take on a wide range of duties.
