Finance Manager - Live Entertainment Venues I am looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join my exciting client on an interim basis here in the centre of London. Overview This is a key role within the small Finance Team that focuses on supporting the effective management and ongoing growth of the company's UK attractions. The Finance Manager works closely with venue operations teams and other head office staff to ensure that suitable finance controls and systems are in place, accurately reflecting all income and expenditure within the accounts. Key Responsibilities ? Business partnering with the Venue Director, key heads of department in head office and at all UK attractions, building and maintaining strong, professional relationships. ? Accurate and timely reporting on the financial performance of all UK attractions, including but not limited to weekly flash reports, monthly P&Ls and creating ad hoc reports for meetings and stakeholders as and when needed. ? Creating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for all UK attractions. ? Maintaining and improving financial procedures and governance within all UK attractions to provide ongoing visibility to the business' profitability and to ensure robust financial controls are in place, for a secure financial future. ? Taking an active role in representing the finance department at meetings relating to attraction operations and new projects. ? Ongoing analysis of the performance of UK attractions, including identifying the reasons behind changes in performance and offering insights into how to maximise revenue and minimise costs. ? Weekly reconciliation of revenue systems, e.g., Ticketing system and venue EPoS. ? Monthly reconciliation of third-party suppliers, including but not limited to; photography sales, gift voucher sales and ticketing partners. ? Ensuring the accurate and timely production of any group or external invoice from the UK attractions and subsequent debt management. ? Managing the month end process for all UK attractions, ensuring that balance sheet reconciliations are completed, pre-payment and accrual codes well managed and cost of sales accounts reflect the expected margins. ? Working with Heads of Departments to understand the financial impact of contracts with third parties and help them negotiate the most suitable deal. ? Working alongside the Venue Director to ensure the maintenance of the asset registers for all UK attractions ? Proactively investigating and resolving any mis-postings or imbalances within the accounts for UK attractions ? Ensuring that all finance processes within the remit of the Finance Manager are documented, reviewed and updated regularly. ? Producing reports for Meetings and Stakeholders as and when needed ? Completing VAT returns for all UK attractions ? Providing ad hoc cover for other members of the finance team as necessary, including, but not limited to, the management of the accounts Inbox, purchase ledger, sales ledger and payment runs.
