Description
The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include, but may not be limited to;
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and procedures.
- Analyse financial data and provide financial advice to the management team.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Develop and manage financial policies to improve operational efficiency.
- Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Not for Profit and Charities background.
- Ability to commute to Carlisle.
- Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
