Onboarding & Induction: Manage onboarding for new staff, ensuring all documentation and induction programs are completed. HR Administration: Maintain employee records, manage HR databases, and ensure data protection compliance. Employee Relations: Support employee queries, disciplinary processes, and effective staff communication. Attendance & Leave Management: Track attendance, manage leave requests, and maintain absence records. Payroll Support: Assist with payroll preparation, ensuring timely and accurate information provision. Training & Development: Coordinate staff training sessions and support development initiatives. Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR statutory and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding policies. Requirements: Previous HR administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Estate Caretaker Location: Highbury and Islington Static role £13.15 paye or £16.10 per hour Umbrella 15 - 20 hours per week Mon- Fri 8am to 11am Main purpose of the role Take personal responsibility for ensuring the cleanliness, safety and security on our estates. Key responsibilities Bin room clearance/rotation and cleaning of blocks. Ensure estate cleanliness, by sweeping / cleaning communal pathways, removing bulk rubbish and reporting repairs and removing graffiti where possible. Sweep and clean car parks and play areas. Rotate bins regularly to ensure refuse chutes are clear and bulk is prepared for uplift. Provide cleaning in the blocks to a high standard with sweeping, mopping, dusting all communal areas including bin storage areas, ceilings, walls, hopper heads. Remove cobwebs and clean handrails/balustrades and light fittings. Pull and replace bins following uplift from local authority. Identify hazards and complete risk assessments on a daily basis and take remedial action as necessary. Grit estate access paths and roads when snow/ice expected. Respond to fire alarms and assist emergency services as required. Contact emergency services whenever required. Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported to line manager. Appropriate paperwork to be completed within requested time scales. Identify issues of security and take remedial action as necessary. You will contact police when appropriate and help maintain safety and security on sites. Minor repairs / maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, flush and clean gullies and drains and remove weeds from hard standing areas. Report any apparent breaches of tenancy agreement to Area Office, including noise, nuisance, illegal subletting, uncontrolled pets, dumping of rubbish and abandoned vehicles. Promote positive image of the Association at all times through the establishment of a good working relationship with residents / residents associations and area advocates. Act as a point of contact for residents and ensure good communication is kept with all teams and departments. Deliver leaflets / newsletters on estates as required. Provide cover for weekend. Maintain a clean and tidy store cupboard.
