Role Overview:

As our Upper School Attendance Manager/Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring students' regular attendance, contributing to their overall academic achievement and well-being. Your responsibilities will include monitoring attendance records, working closely with students and families, and implementing strategies to improve attendance rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage daily attendance records for upper school students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance and reduce absenteeism.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student attendance.
  • Conduct regular attendance reviews and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate and participate in attendance meetings with students and families.
  • Provide administrative support for the school's attendance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A background in education or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience working with children, young people, or families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using attendance management systems and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
