Overview Job Title: Training co-ordinator Our client are a world leading provider of Training Courses, online Learning and bespoke client learning solutions. Role overview As the public course training co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end event coordination of a selection of London based public courses. You must have an excellent track record in events or training with exceptional administrative skills and an eye for detail, as you will be accountable for overall logistics, including the organisation of the trainer's travel, co-ordination with the venue, formatting course materials, arranging printing and welcoming participants on the first day of courses. You must be customer service oriented and have excellent organisational skills as you will be responsible for all post-sale communication with participants. You will be responsible for preparing budgets for each course ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date and issuing and processing invoices. You will need to be able to commute into London at least twice per week. Remote working is available when you are not required to be in the office on Wednesdays or at course venues on Mondays. Duties and responsibilities would include (among others) Responsible for end-to-end event organisation on assigned learning programmes Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided Communicating with and maintaining relationships with faculty - booking trainers' flights/accommodation Ensuring a consistent high quality of course materials which includes the formatting of slides Accountable for budgets Responsible for managing costs Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of LMS systems, Salesforce and Aventri will be advantageous. The candidate will have at least 2 years previous experience as a co-ordinator, in a learning or events industry. The candidate must have strong administration and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, time management and ability to remain highly motivated through business process change and under pressure. Key Traits You should be confident and calm under pressure, particularly with high workload, and when operating within tight timelines; the skill to reprioritise is paramount. You should be resourceful in your approach to problems and things that go wrong. You will need to use your own initiative and be confident making decisions independently, but also know when to escalate. You will require excellent time management skills, expert organisational skills and an eye for detail. You will require exemplary customer service skills and be prepared to go the extra mile for your clients. You should be professional in your approach.
