We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant/Handyperson to join this new and exciting Academy and Children's Home.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for supporting in the upkeep of the School and Children's Home, with specific responsibilities for general maintenance, site security and cleaning.
You will need to have awareness of health and safety and cleanliness of workplace, handling and use of hazardous materials experience (COSHH), manual handling experience and experience of carrying out general unskilled maintenance.
7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (No Friday working)
£25k plus £2k uplift Permanent 4 days a week plus great benefits including birthday off after first year of service plus 5 loyalty days after 5 years of service, equivalent to 5 weeks holidays plus bank holidays per year, ongoing training, professional development and mentoring opportunities
