Job Summary and Duties Working as a Secondary Teacher for Groveside School you will deliver fun educational based learning which is tailored to each of our pupils to ensure they will achieve positive results. They will pay for you to obtain the CIAG accredited careers advisor qualification to level 4 (and later level 6). You get to work from home one day a week for paperwork. And the rest of the time you are out and about hot desking in mostly local job centres, community centres and the odd library. The aim of your role is to deliver a one-to-one advice and guidance sessions to help someone move towards education or employment. In each session you will find out what their aims, goals and barriers are. Then put in place an action plan for them to help get there. You will also support with a few practicalities such as helping them put a CV together or researching educational courses. You will typically deliver 3 4 sessions a day with customers.
