Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met, removing completed or defective products or materials, placing them in designated locations.
Load materials and products into package processing equipment, ensuring all equipment, machines and production areas always comply with health and safety and personal hygiene rules.
General
You will be working with a small and friendly production shop floor team, helping and learning from specialist machine operators how to put coffee related products together from a green bean to finished high quality product, ready for customer despatch.
As a Science Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the science department and ensuring the smooth delivery of practical experiments and demonstrations.
Assisting teachers during practical sessions, providing technical support and guidance to students.
Your responsibilities will include: Preparing equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Quality Control Laboratory and will be responsible for the analysis of samples, chemical and consumable upkeep, ordering and inventory, waste and safety records, routine equipment maintenance, and managing daily work allocation.
An experienced Laboratory Analyst is required for Maternity cover - minimum 1 year for our client based in Aylesford.
Other duties will include: Work as part of the team to prepare and coordinate daily activities in the laboratory relating to the analysis of samples in the laboratory.
