Graduate Civil or Structural Engineer Southend on Sea £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE) Our client, an award winning civil and structural engineering consultancy are currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to expand their team based in Southend on Sea. They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and driven graduate who has graduated with a degree in civil or structural engineering but would like to develop a career in faade engineering. As a graduate engineer you will be responsible for assisting others with design work on projects and tasks, with moderate supervision, to ensure the tasks are delivered as briefed. This includes communicating with clients, other consultants and colleagues in the delivery of projects whilst maintaining a positive client relationship. Key Responsibilities Inspect parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable data package requirements, using a range of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, co-ordinate measuring machines and faro arms Inspect component parts to verify applicable machine tool set up processes Inspect component parts and assemblies in accordance with batch sampling requirements Complete formal first article inspection activities Complete component and assembly testing in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) Process/complete non-conformance related documentation (when applicable) Support inspection related tasks/activities at noncompany locations (when required) Complete/authorise formal release certification (when required) To adhere to company policies and procedures To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published health and safety procedures.
