Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of a passionate team, this role as a Welcome & Service Assistant plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.
The National Trust in Wales is a bilingual organisation and all staff and volunteers must show a commitment to work in a fully bilingual environment.
For this role we require minimum Listening & Understanding and Speaking competency at level 2.
Working within the small but enthusiastic visitor experience team, you will assist in developing and delivering a programme of activities at Wallington during weekends and school holidays from May to September.
You'll help to create a timetable of fun, interactive, engaging and inclusive activities and will be responsible for the daily delivery of active outdoors components, including play, sports and games.
Working closely with the Programming and Partnerships Manager and the Visitor Experience Officer you will design and bring to life a programme of activities that makes creative use of space and resources, inspiring visitors of all ages to enjoy the surroundings in different ways and encouraging them to stay and play.
You'll promote National Trust membership and help the team to meet both membership and fundraising targets.
As the public face of our properties, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 18th December 2024
We have an opportunity for a Welcome & Service Assistant to join our team at Kedleston Hall.
You'll play a core part in giving information, providing fantastic customer service as part of a passionate team, answering questions and ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
You'll work 300 hours over the duration of the contract, and on average, you'll work one day per week (sometimes two to three days in peak season) which will often include a weekend day.
