To conduct technical risk assessments of plant and equipment mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure that all risks are identified and minimized by design.
Create safety concepts for machine designs that meet the PLr rating, considering all system failure modes and potential breaches of operation, to include system redundancy and suitably rated safety devices.
To determine the safety Performance Level rating for machinery based on the identified risks (PLr).
