A leading Defence client of ours is currently in the market for a principal level Systems Safety Engineer to work across multiple platforms, leading the delivery of a variety of Safety-critical Systems in accordance with the safety processes and using guidance from Def Stan 00-056 and IEC61508.
Your Responsibilities
Safety Analysis such as Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs), Functional Failure Analysis (FFA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) in accordance with the NG safety processes and using guidance from Def Stan 00-056 and IEC61508.
Generate safety requirements for the system to ensure that the customer's safety targets and derived safety targets can be met by the system design.

Our client is looking for someone who has some plumbing and/or electrical based experience that is keen to learn a new career and be trained and willing to absorb knowledge from the experience and existing engineers within the business.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to have a Full UK driving licence and be over 21 years of age for fleet insurance purposes.
The role will require you to attend customer sites across Greater London area and to carry out servicing and maintenance of surface water and foul water pumping stations.
