The MD is looking for someone who will who will work alongside him for the next 20 years, shaping the next phase of the company's development. Objectives Achieve sales targets set jointly with the business Work with sales team to drive and meet team sales targets Work with the sales team to develop sales Develop the online presence of the business Work with IT to drive and develop the company website Advise and work with the MD and senior management team on future growth & development of the business Main duties/responsibilities Promote and sell products via all available channels, in particular digital streams Provide monthly progress on performance of the sales team via key KPI sets, preparing and delivering customer target plans for all members of the sales team Work with the MD to achieve business objectives and drive profitability of the business. Help set the 2 year growth strategy via both organic growth and new business Devising and implementing new business initiatives and sales strategies and monitoring their effectiveness Responsible for upholding the professional image of the organisation at all times Monitor market trends, competitor products and customer need to identify new SMART business objectives. Present quarterly market sector growth strategies Support sharing best practice across the sales team Maintaining a professional attitude Covering the whole UK Present the companies products and services at conferences and events Qualifications & education required Minimum 3 years' sales experience at senior level Essential skills & aptitude required Excellent team player both in terms of leading and being part of a team. Good communication, presentation, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to nurture sale team members to maximise their current accounts. Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the market. Flair for creativity, new ideas and solutions. Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of internal and external personnel. Ability to prioritise work, pay attention to detail and successfully complete tasks on time. Fast learner - You will be able to familiarise yourself with new products quickly.
