Our client has a great opportunity to join a family owned worldwide, business as a Technical Design Co-ordinator. This company has a production facility based in Central Bedfordshire. The Technical Design Co-ordinator would be a key part to the design team developing and maintaining key relationships with customers, designers, and contractors. You will also be translating enquiries into designs and specifications, ensuring a positive solution for the end costumer. Key responsibilities for a Technical Design Co-ordinator Providing technical, estimating, costing and commercial assistance. Administration of the technical and triage of enquiries. Advising customers on the use and applications of products, securing customer and project details. You will be building relationships with customers, with technical knowledge of the product and managing expectations. Advice in relation to layouts, specifications and materials. Inputting enquiries onto the CRM to create formal specifications when required. Creating and reviewing technical drawing contracts. Essential skills for a Technical Design Co-ordinator Previous experience within design In either a work place or education environment. Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of IT skills including word and Excel. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service Demonstrate time management skills, and be able to communicate effectively.
