Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of data products within various workstreams in data and analytics portfolio.
An exciting and challenging role providing 2nd / 3rd Line Support / Systems Administration for numerous Financial Trading, Risk and Settlement Systems in a mixed Windows / Linux environment with preferred candidates having strong Database / SQL and Scripting skills.
Candidates are required to have a breadth and depth of Technical knowledge along with an unrivalled troubleshooting aptitude as you'll take ownership of incidents from start to finish and be covering a number of different areas from front to back end as opposed to passing it on and escalating to other teams.
Not essential but preferred candidates will come from a Market Data / Trade Floor Support background with any Energy Trading experience highly beneficial and their associates Trading Systems / ETRM's - EDF, Gazprom, Trayport, Shell.
My customer is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to conduct a detailed site survey of all of the group sites nationally to establish what technology is on site along with a deeper dive into some of the key applications used and if possible, a review of their capability for Cloud migration.
The Technical Business Analyst should have experience assessing company's technologies, completing audits, and performing detailed IT surveys.
In addition, you would have Understanding/Awareness of Infrastructure, Network and EUC Technologies, Excellent Documentation and Communication, and Awareness of Cloud.
