A Special school (SEN) which caters for pupils with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD) and behavioural difficulties (EBD) is looking for Teaching Assistants to start in September 2024 for long-term roles and daily supply.
Also, being able to work with challenging behaviour would be beneficial.
There is a high proportion of autistic children attending the school so a good knowledge and understanding of autism is essential for the role.

Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with ASD, ensuring their individual needs are met and they are fully engaged in classroom activities.

This rewarding role involves providing support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive learning environment and assisting in the development and progress of children with ASD.
Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioral challenges.
