Paralegal Assistant Job Type: Full-time Location: Market Harborough Salary:£22 -26000 pa We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Conveyancing Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to contribute actively to our Residential Conveyancing operations and a minimum of 12 months' experience in a conveyancing department. Day to Day of the role: Be an integral part of the Residential Conveyancing team, contributing to the smooth running of operations. Draft and manage registered contracts, including issuing, chasing, and proofreading system-generated documentation. Liaise with and develop relationships within our exclusive referral network of Estate Agents and other property transaction professionals. Provide accurate quotations to clients and prospective clients both verbally and in writing. Attend to clients effectively both over the phone and in person. Administer filing systems, ensuring efficient daily filing and the management of client files. Prepare correspondence and legal documents using our case management system. Exchange contracts and prepare files for completion, including drafting completion statements. Report to clients on searches, mortgage contracts, and title packs. Ensure compliance with Money Laundering Regulations (MLR) and obtain necessary document sign-offs. Raise and reply to enquiries with respective solicitors as part of the conveyancing process. Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as required to support the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 12 months' experience within a conveyancing department. A keen interest in progressing a career within the conveyancing field. Ability to prioritise work, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure. Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in phone communication.
