To act as a member of staff for the Local Authority Adult Mental Health service providing an effective and efficient Care Act appropriate service to vulnerable adults with high mental health support needs and their carers, within the community or in a hospital setting.

As the Social Worker you will attend any Court hearings as appropriate and give evidence when necessary.
To undertake statutory social work with children who are Looked After, providing support, assessment of their ongoing and changing needs and interventions which will secure their welfare.
To undertake assessments of the needs of children, their families and formulate plans for those children in accordance with statutory responsibilities and departmental policies.
Service users present with a range of support needs including mental health, drug and alcohol, domestic violence and offending behaviour.

To provide a comprehensive accommodation based support service to vulnerable adults and young people living in the singles hostels which form part of Camden's Adult and Young People's Pathway ensuring that they are enabled to develop the skills and abilities to move through the pathway to independent and settled accommodation.
