You will provide advice, guidance and supporting to the Director of Adult Social Care on practice and risk to ensure our services meet all adult social care legal requirements.
As Assistant Director for Safeguarding and Quality Assurance, you will lead our Adult Safeguarding and Adults Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub Services as well as act as the lead social work professional for all social care staff.
You will also be responsible for leading and driving quality assurance and practice development, ensuring the continuing improvement of practitioner skill and experience across the ASCS workforce in preparation for the new CQC inspection framework.

Suffolk County Council are looking for Children's Newly Qualified Social Workers to join the Children and Young Peoples Service in various locations across Suffolk on a Hybrid contract.You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis .
In return, you will earn a competitive salary of £32,076 per annum (rising to £34,834 per annum) (pro rata for part time), plus a joining payment of £1,500, plus £4,000 retention payment upon successful completion of the ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) programme.
