Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Social Value Executive to join our passionate and driven team based in Ipswich, Suffolk

This role covers the OCS Group in the UK & Ireland, reporting to the Social Value Manager (UK & Ireland)

The Graduate Social Value Advisor has responsibility for the Social Value engagement process across the business and with customers. The role will require significant engagement with stakeholders internally (e.g Bid, Sales, Social Mobility, Communications teams) and externally (e.g Customers) to ensure all aspects of ESG and Social Value bid input and customer engagement is best in class.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional

  • Support and co-ordinate the Social Value input for the bid and tendering process, working alongside multiple teams and divisions across the business to ensure ESG support is consistent.
  • Support and engage with customers on Social Value requirements and initiatives
  • Develop and manage our ESG content hub
  • Develop and deliver Social Value training and workshops to relevant staff.
  • Ensure Social Value data is captured across our customer base and can be integrated to Group reporting.
  • Conduct regular horizon scanning of upcoming regulations and initiatives related to Social Value and the facilities management industry.
  • Assist with the delivery of various ESG/Social Value related reports, presentations and dashboards for customers.
  • Collation and coordination of ESG and Social Value best practices across all division, working with marketing and communications teams to create case studies and collateral for the ESG content hub

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK

Necessary

  • A university degree in any subject (Lower Second-Class Honours or above)
  • Excellent communicator, with proven stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels.

Desirable

  • Experience or understanding of the facilities management and/or construction industry
  • Experience in Social Value with working knowledge & understanding of Social Value reporting
  • An understanding and experience of Social Value frameworks such as TOMs
  • Applicants with qualifications in Sustainability/ESG/Social Value
