The Shift Manager will be the main point of contact for the team during their working day.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team are in the right place at the right time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guest demands whilst keeping operational standards and guest experience high.
The Shift manager will take responsibility for up to 10 Warehouse staff and provide support to peripheral operations at the customer premises.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and reporting upon the work activities of the team; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training, and development.
You will be expected to manage end of line processing, loading of trailers, transportation to off site trailer exchange facility and associated communication with partners.

Support a team in the delegating of workload, be flexible and reactive when managing breaks, absence and supervising the activities of the day to day operational needs of the business.
Actively manage all employee performance ensuring that good performance is recognised and poor performance is managed.
To support and conduct all relevant employee relations meetings to include investigation, disciplinary and grievance.
