Role: Production Shift Manager
Location: Corwen
Salary: £40000 - £55000
Days: 2pm - 10pm - Monday to Friday
Our client is currently looking for Production Shift Manager to join their team based in North Wales.
As a Production Shift Manager, you will oversee the set afternoon shift and support across all departments within the production floor. Reporting to an experienced Production Manager and overseeing an established team including but not limited to Line Leaders, Line team leaders and all the production staff (circa 100 people per shift)
Main Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager:
- Ensuring the factory performance targets of output, waste & product quality are continuously achieved & recorded
- Supervise the smooth running of the Afternoon Shift, being the point of contact for all management enquiries
- Manage, support & develop all of the staff on the shift ensuring that the team are adequately trained
- Oversee packing operations ensuring that the product is correctly labelled and efficiently packaged according to the agreed standard
- Perform stock checks of raw materials & packaging as requested by management
The desired Production Shift Manager will possess the following:
- IOSH knowledge - Desired
- Previous shift management / team leader experience - 3 years minimum - Essential
- Prior Manufacturing - FMCG / Print / Packaging / Pharma knowledge - Essential
- LEAN awareness - Desired
- Ability to relate with people of all levels and able to really inspire and drive the workforce to their highest potential
