Our client are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to provide subject matter expert support for business purchasing activities managed within the Finance and Procurement functions.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to procurement practices, financial controls & governance guidance, whilst fostering stakeholder & supplier relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement professional to shape the National Trust approach to procurement across the organisation and ensure operational readiness to deliver value as we head into our exciting new Strategy period.
Reporting into the Director of Finance this role is to strengthen leadership in procurement as we prepare for our new 10 year strategy period whilst managing through a short-term unplanned staff absence.
This is a fixed term role (minimum 6 months) for you to provide technical discipline leadership, heading up a team of 9 specialists, influencing and engaging senior stakeholders as you seek to unlock opportunities to embed sustainable best practice in the buying goods and services.
As a Sourcing/Procurement Specialist will support and manage the execution of direct procurement priorities in line with business goals and initiatives controlling the whole supply cycle (request for quote, purchase order, fulfilment, and support with internal co-ordination to ensure on time supply of equipment to the line and on time payment of suppliers).
In this role you will use your experience and/or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and effect short term initiatives and long-term departmental improvements.
As a Sourcing/Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for
Creation of RFQ's, place and follow up on PO's for assigned commodities.
Working with departments and the Head of Procurement to deliver effective procurement solutions for projects and on-going requirements whilst managing risks to an appropriate level.
To support the organisation globally in improving procurement processes, value received from its suppliers and engagement with the internal stakeholder community.
Key Responsibilities
Leading product category and projects reviews through market analysis, tenders, contract negotiations and successful implementation, mainly in the UK but potentially globally.
