As part of the Senior Leadership Team and reporting directly to the MD, the Head of HR will play an instrumental role to help the business achieve its strategic ambitions and be key in shaping the organisation's culture, by aligning the People strategy with business goals, to create and foster a positive, engaging, and productive work environment. Managing, coaching and developing a small team, this is both a hands on and strategic role where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities will include: Establish and manage HR procedures and best practices. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and performance management. Create programs to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and retention. Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organisation. Lead compensation and benefits planning. Drive HR technology adoption for efficiency and analytics. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. There's a lot to achieve in this role and requires someone who can demonstrate: Commercially focused expertise and a proven strategic thinker who combines sound senior-level generalist experience with a results-focused approach. Experience of supporting an employee base of blue and white collar workers. Experience of shaping, developing and implement HR strategic plans and projects that drive continuous improvement and encourage efficiency, Demonstrate gravitas and credibility with senior managers to influence and challenge the status quo. A true coach and leader who can build strong and longstanding relationships at all levels. Experience of successfully creating and implementing a learning and development plan. Extensive ER involvement with broad Employment Law knowledge and the ability to confidently advise and guide Managers and Leaders. The ability to engage and build open, honest, and positive working relationships with colleagues, peers and stakeholders. Salary on offer is c£75,000 - £85,000 company car/allowance bonus.
