We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor who is adept at coordinating various HR functions and has a strong knowledge of the HR life cycle. This role necessitates a strategic thinker who can contribute to the development and implementation of effective HR policies & procedures, Employee LifeCycle and Employee Relations, as well as support organisational change programmes and adhoc projects across the business.

Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Profile

The successful Senior HR Advisor will be:

  • Ideally you will be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or be working towards this.
  • Experience of working at a similar level within a fast paced private sector organisation(s) ideally FMCG
  • HR generalist experience in terms of driving HR agenda
  • Used to working with senior business leaders and senior functional managers
  • Commercial awareness and desire to understand the business and be a true part of it not just a part of the HR function
  • Experience of dealing with complex ER cases
  • Excellent understanding of Employment Law and how to apply this
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable with challenging status quo and proposing new solutions
  • Not afraid to challenge and coach managers
  • Discretion - manage confidential/ sensitive information
