We are seeking a compassionate and reliable carer to provide long-term care for an elderly woman in her mid-80s every Sunday from 8:00 to 20:00. She does not have any underlying health conditions. We require assistance with basic daily activities to ensure her well-being. Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with personal care tasks Administer medication and maintain accurate records Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in her bedroom and bathroom Accompanying her throughout the day, including daily walks, medical appointments, etc. Read and interpret medical records, make doctor appointments Perform light massage or other comforting techniques to alleviate any discomfort Be flexible and adaptable to her needs and preferences Ensuring her well-being and comfort Required Qualifications and Skills: Experience in caregiving, preferably for elderly individuals First aid certification Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as temperature and blood pressure monitoring Proficient in handling medication Ability to read and understand medical records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient demeanour Ability to maintain confidentiality Experience with light massage or other comforting techniques Experience making and managing doctor appointments Additional Information: The ideal candidate will be kind, gentle, down-to-earth, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Job Description: Responsible for making sure patients are comfortable Assisting patients to move around Assisting patients in washing and dressing activities Keeping departments tidy and ensuring equipment is clean Serving meals and helping patients eat Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions. Ensure GPs' rooms and clinical treatment rooms are clean and well stocked. Undertake dressing procedures following local recommendations, complying with infection control principles and practice. Plan, develop and implement ways of raising and promoting awareness of health and well-being, keeping records of what has been done. Remove sutures and clips. Give accurate and appropriate information to patients and groups within own competence. Support clinicians in providing minor surgery. Blood glucose monitoring.
