What you'll do: Your day-to-day responsibilities will include detailed digital electronic circuit design where you'll select components, evaluate them and simulate their performance. You'll generate essential design documentation and technical reports while interfacing with related disciplines. Furthermore, you'll assist in developing higher-level system designs and technical requirement specifications while supporting system integration activities. Perform detailed digital electronic circuit design including component selection, evaluation, simulation, schematic capture, and liaising with PCB design teams. Engage in VHDL design, code, simulation, test, integration and embedded IP. Conduct design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques. Generate design documentation and technical reports. Interface with related disciplines. Assist the development of higher-level system designs and development of technical requirement specifications. Support system integration activities. What you bring: Educational background in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject Experience generating component level digital electronic designs for introduction into volume production. Knowledge of FPGA/CPLD designs. Familiarity with digital design including processor interfacing, memory devices, PLD interfacing, UARTs, SPI, I2C, Ethernet etc. Understanding of ADC/DAC devices and techniques. Experience in design proving, integration, and defect resolution. Ability to gather evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety.
