This Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer position is working for a company in Portsmouth. The working hours consist of a 35 hour week - Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, with an early finish of 2pm on a Friday! The role is paying up to £31,000 depending on experience.

This Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer position has a range of duties and responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models of buildings based on general arrangements and section drawings, helping to design scenarios. They will also assess and review simulations, collate the results and also produce reports. There will also be the need to utilise different software to assist with the model and drawing creation.
You will need:
- A Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar
- Knowledge of different 3D design packages such as Pyrosim and FDS software
- Previous design experience is advantageous
- Great organisational skills
- Exceptional communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good time management skills
