Main duties
The Family Support Worker is expected to work efficiently using effective communication skills to ensure that the team is able to deliver effective, efficient services.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Family Support & Safeguarding Team within Barking & Dagenham.

The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.
The Social Worker will provide a high-quality service in relation to all aspects of the assessment and care management process which meet the needs of vulnerable adults with Disabilities.
To perform all the functions of the post in a manner consistent with Disability legislation and with current Social Services policies, standards and procedures as endorsed by the Senior Management Team.
To take responsibility for all the functions of the post within the boundaries of delegated responsibility.
Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Provide expert professional and technical advice to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues, and partners.
Type: Permanent, full time (Flexibility needed for late shifts and occasional weekend work)
