About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Environmental Health Officer with a solid background in the housing sector to join our dedicated team.
This role focuses on maintaining and improving residential housing standards by managing a varied caseload, including complaints related to damp, mould, overcrowding, and more.
As a successful Complaints Officer, your duties will be
Act as a point of contact for residents wishing to raise a complaint or general enquiry, provide an effective front-line housing information and advice service and deal proactively with complaints and enquiries.
Mange and draft responses to enquiries from Cabinet members, MPs and Ombudsman ensuring that deadlines for responses are met, dealt with effectively and ensure high quality standards are maintained.

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a London Council to provide them with a Complaints Officer on a contract basis.
The role reports directly to the Operational Lead, Landlord Services and is directly responsible for all housing management services and staff, including ASB services and operational resident engagement activities.
To do this the Council needs leaders who thrive in a networked organisation and who provide strong operational leadership.
