Position Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the schools SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
Assist classroom teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations for students with SEN.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
Reed Education are working in partnership with a school in Exeter, who are seeking to appoint a classroom based Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA).
The candidate would start on a temporary basis, however if they are interested in obtaining a contract with this specific school, this is something that can be completed for the right candidate.
This role would be on a full-time basis, to start in September.
