An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Thatcham as a Science Technician. This position will be working alongside a team of technicians, providing practical support to the Science Faculty. Various shift patterns apply: 10am - 6pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) 9am - 1pm (Wednesday), 8am - 12pm (Saturday). Please note, this position will be starting in September. As the Science Technician, you will be responsible for: Coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities. You will prepare practical experiments, apparatus and resources for practical classes and assist with occasional clerical administration, as requested by the teaching staff in the Department for their lessons. Assist the team leader technician with the day-to-day organisation and development of the department. Organising, storing, and checking the condition of chemicals and equipment.
