Job Details The role of Area Sales Manager at is to develop sales and build relationships with our existing and new retailers & consumers across the Territory. The successful candidate will report directly to The UK Country Manager and will ideally live on the territory.We are looking for someone who has held a similar role and has in-depth knowledge of the VMS category and/ or a passion for nutrition. Key areas of responsibility in the role of Area Sales Manager,include but are not limited to: Develop sales and achieve your weekly, quarterly & annual targets. Increase distribution numbers & rate of sale in your area. Identifying & acting on new business opportunities. In-store merchandising & POS placement. Implement and execute the operational field strategy for the area. Contribute to the delivery of all key financials, budgets and targets. Educate customers on our product range,market and category opportunities. Make events & tastings educational and informative. Introduce new products & meet brand distribution targets. Agree & implement promotions with your customers to drive sales & brand awareness. Build & maintain good relationships with both internal departments & external customers. Know your competitors and what's going on in the market. Maintain and update the company CRM on a daily basis. Person Detail The ideal candidate for the role of Area Sales Manager must have a proven track record in FMCG retail sales & a strong knowledge of the Territory. You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to demonstrate your ability to work independently. This role requires you to be highly organised, sales focused,target driven whilst also possessing a dynamic and flexible attitude to change. Your ability to build relationships with a wide range of people is essential. Essential Criteria A minimum of 3-5years' experience in commercial sales ideally in VMS or Pharma Relevant industry experience or a 3rdlevel qualification in a relevant area. Demonstrative knowledge of Health Store & Pharmacy sectors & nutrition. Excellent can-do attitude and a team player Excellent communication skills Experience & component negotiation & selling skills. Role Responsibilities (but not limited to) - Provide exceptional online support for our existing customers, or potential customers by resolving any issues and improving the overall customer journey. - Process returns and exchanges within SLA. - Respond to queries on a number of channels, including email and social media, whilst meeting our high standard of service within a fast-paced working environment. - Give weekly feedback to the team, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, raising any recurring issues so that they can be escalated accordingly. - Communicate with other departments for a prompt resolution of customer queries. - The candidate will be required to help in any other areas of the business as and when necessary. - Fraud checking of orders, dealing with risk orders in a timely manner.
