Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a growing organisation in the Horley area in the recruitment of a Sales Ledger Analyst to join their existing team on and initial 12 month contract. Reporting to the AR Manager as Sales Ledger Analyst you will provide high-quality sales ledger function and ensure that invoices are raised accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant key performance indicators. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and has a strong background in sales ledger operations. Day-to-day duties of the role: Generate and process various types of sales invoices and credit notes. Analyse and challenge the accuracy and consistency of supporting data. Conduct thorough customer reconciliations to identify discrepancies. Resolve customer queries effectively and efficiently. Assist with month-end reporting, including accruals. Contribute to Finance project work as required. Help the department meet all Key Performance Indicators. Engage in cross-training in all areas of finance functions. Improve controls over revenue assurance and seek ways to enhance Finance processes and systems. Participate in regular training and learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge. Perform additional ad-hoc duties as required to support the wider Finance function. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and working practices, ensuring health and safety for yourself and others. Required Skills & Qualifications: Demonstrable relevant sales ledger experience. Interest in pursuing a professional qualification (AAT or equivalent) or a career in Finance. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Advanced administrative and organisational skills. Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Confident and accurate use of departmental computer systems/databases. Professional, confident, and calm, especially in challenging situations. Customer-focused with a supportive, flexible, and positive attitude. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
