This role acts as first responder to any fire activations and be responsible for management of fire evacuations in CWML managed Buildings and Estate areas in Canary Wharf.
About the Role
Working shifts, 4 on 4 off roster including days, nights and weekends.
The role has a starting salary of £40,296 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.
If not already a competent Watch Commander, pay will start on a development basis until competency is achieved and paid in line with agreed national joint council terms.
If you are a grey book employee, this role attracts a salary reflective of Watch Commander B, plus 10%.
The Health and Safety Adviser reports to the Compliance Solutions Manager and has close liaison responsibilities throughout Homes and Neighbourhoods, the council's corporate Health Safety Team and the Fire Safety Group for all aspects of service delivery and service development.
