We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team, focusing on providing support to vulnerable children and young people during crisis situations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of trauma and its effects on behavior, along with a commitment to creating safe and nurturing environments.
To deliver and co-facilitate a range of evidenced based programmes and group work in partnership with internal and external colleagues in order to support parents and carers.
To support parents and carers in over-coming barriers to help them meet the needs of their children.
The role
To work within an integrated framework to support vulnerable children, young people and families to improve their social, physical and emotional well-being, and to take responsibility for direct and therapeutic interventions, including work with those who may be resistant to engage.
