Renewable Energy Product Support Engineer / Electrical or Solar Installation Technical Advisor who has a practical, technical background and a head for numbers and theory, with solid communication skills is required for a well-established renewables distribution company based in Milton, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
Practical experience of PV or electrical installations and/or technical troubleshooting is highly desirable, as is hands-on experience with renewable energy systems, solar PV and/or heat pumps, but these are not essential as the company welcomes applications from a diverse set of professionals.
Candidates with a more general electrical or electronics background/engineering qualification will also be considered.
As the Digital Solutions Technical Support, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our client SMTGB's digital solutions.
You'll investigate and help troubleshoot equipment issues involving; Connectivity, Registrations, Activations, Applications, Data feeds and Reports, while assisting technical experts deliver remote and/or first fix resolutions with equipment breakdown.
Reporting into the Site Solutions manager you'll provide a 1st line 'triage' service, supporting internal and external customers on digital solution inquiries.
